The Independence House, locally owned by a Registered Nurse, provides specialized assisted living facilities in a small home-like setting. Our facilities specialize in caring for individuals that have been diagnosed with dementia. The staff provides care, support and education to help families cope with the changes that dementia brings to their lives. The Independence Houses also provide palliative care, for those individuals diagnosed with an illness that causes pain or other health concerns. All four communities provide services to maximize comfort and quality of life.
